Pinwheels for Prevention Ceremony- Monday, April 4th 12-1 PM Midland County Courthouse Lawn

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month (CAP). Safe and Sound Child Advocacy Center works tirelessly year round to address and prevent child abuse and neglect.

The blue pinwheel is a nationally recognized symbol of the hope, healing, and happiness deserving of every child. When the entire community takes responsibility for creating healthy environments for children, we lay the foundation for growth and development.

This quick lunch time planting will start at 12 and run until 1 p.m. We invite all community members who want to commit to #StandUpForKids and #BeTheOne to make a difference in the life of a child here in Midland county. Come anytime between 12 and 1 to plant your pinwheel! The ceremony will begin at 12:05 however.

This year our nominees for Safe and Sound’s “Champion for Children” award will be honored and celebrated during this event!
